Wow! What A Ride!

Hello, Dear Reader!

ProvidenceMine here.

I just finished watching the final episode of the webseries Star Trek Continues, and I am both
exhilarated and sad. The exhilaration comes from the absolutely incredible work that was done in this final episode, the way things were tied together so beautifully from the end of the five year mission to the lead up to Star Trek: The Motion Picture. The sadness, of course, comes from the fact that the show is over now-truly over.

Hey, I can hope that somehow this supremely talented team will decide to make more webisodes in the future, but with the way that this program was wrapped up it was quite clear that the producers wanted to end this show for good.  I suppose that it has to be tough to continue to crowd fund every show that you do, and the work that goes into every show must be labor intensive to say the least.  And let's not forget one has to make a living in this world, and you can't do that when a fan created production takes up much of your time.

I get that.

After all, you don't see any ads on this blog-do you?

God, it was so great watching a show that made me feel like I was watching the lost episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series! I must say that out of all of the Star Trek shows and films in the franchise that I've looked at or peaked at, none of them were able to measure up to this fan produced show.

They didn't even come close.

And yes, that includes the JJ Abrams films and the latest installment on CBS Access-and you know what series I'm talking about, folks!

Me and my sister watched the first episode of ST:Discovery on regular TV, and we did enjoy it though we were not in love with the show.

It was pretty good, but not great.

Star Trek Continues was wildly fun, and I will truly miss looking forward to new webisodes-but at least I can revisit what has been done.

So, that's what I'll do.

If you have not seen this web series, may I suggest that you visit Vimeo and type in Star Trek Continues. I will try to put in the link to their Vimeo channel, but if it doesn't work then you know what to do.  After all, you're big boys and girls.

Well, there you go. I sure hope you enjoy this program like I did!

Until the next installment of my story-and yes, it is in the works-

Godspeed to the team that saw Star Trek Continues come to fruition!

Thank you so much guys! You left me near speechless with your remarkable work!

And the only thing left for this fangirl to say is...

Wow!

What A Ride!

What A Ride Indeed!

Thanks again :D
